Prepare for your Facelift Surgery
Question: What do I do to prepare for facelift surgery?
Answer I require my patients to have a healthy lifestyle that involves smoking cessation, healthy eating and exercise leading to a stable weight. Sun protection is key as well as preparing your skin with Retin A cream.
Question: What happens at the preoperative facelift appointment?
Answer: I will provide information about a comprehensive facial rejuvenation program that will start whether or not you plan on a surgical facelift.
We will discuss all the surgical options for facial rejuvenation, like skin care, adding facial volume, upper and lower eyelid surgery, surgical and non surgical ways to maintain brow position, mini facelift, neck lift, and full facelift (which includes rejuvenating the face and neck). I will discuss the risks, benefits and short and long-term complications of each. My goal is to give you options and provide up to date information that will help you feel safe, comfortable and informed!
