The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) is an organization devoted to the advancement of cosmetic surgery with about 2,400 members. The members in the United States are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Members from north of the border in Canada are certified in plastic surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The annual meeting this year takes place in Vancouver, Canada from May 3rd to May 8th. ASAPS was founded in 1967 and is recognized as a leader in cosmetic surgery research, education, and procedural advances.
